In the winter, playgrounds are sprayed with water to turn them into ice rinks so children can practise this sport. It is also possible to play inside, in large arenas.

Tobogganing
Lots of ski resorts have special hills for sledging down.

Sleigh riding
Sleigh riding is a nice thing to do around Christmas when the lights from the burning torches light up the snowclad roadside. This is an old Norwegian tradition that is kept alive by new generations.
